Hope van Dyne is a prominent character within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). She is the daughter of Hank Pym and Janet van Dyne.
Initially estranged from her father due to his secrecy surrounding her mother's disappearance, Hope eventually reconnects with him and inherits her mother's mantle.
Hope van Dyne's first appearance was in the 2015 Movie Ant-Man. After training with her father and Scott Lang she becomes the Wasp, inheriting Janet's shrinking technology and flight capabilities, along with energy weapon gauntlets.
As the Wasp, Hope partners with Ant-Man in several missions, becoming a vital member of the Avengers and engaging in battles against formidable threats like Thanos.
